Vancouver-- the Pacific Racing Association, operators of hastings Park announced this afternoon that General manager Bob Stirskey has resigned for personal reasons

The announcement was made by PRA Board Chair, Colin Gabelmann.

Stirskey has been General Manager at Hastings Park since 1998.

Prior to becoming General Manager, Stirskey was Chair of the PRA and was an original board member.
“Bob Stirskey was instrumental in the formation of the PRA and guided the industry though it’s early growing pains.” said Gabelmann.

“His racing background as both an owner and breeder also paved the way for a smooth transition between management and the people who work in the backstretch when the Pacific Racing Association was first formed.”

“We wish Bob every success in his future endevours.”
